If you feel the need to prove, defend, or control…
this prayer is for you.

In this episode, I guide you through a somatic prayer for humility—a grounded, body-based practice to help you release ego, soften anxiety, and return to a state of calm, clarity, and trust.

Humility is often misunderstood as weakness.
But in the nervous system, humility is a state of regulation—where you no longer need to prove your worth, defend your identity, or carry everything alone.

This prayer supports you in:

  • letting go of ego-driven reactions
  • releasing pressure to perform or be right
  • calming the nervous system during stress or conflict
  • finding peace through humility and trust in God
  • reconnecting to your body, breath, and inner stability

You will be guided to:

  • soften tension in your body
  • shift from reactivity into grounded presence
  • open to perspective, grace, and understanding
  • experience humility as strength, not collapse

Whether you are navigating:

  • anxiety
  • relationship tension
  • emotional overwhelm
  • or a need to control outcomes

this humility prayer will help you return to a place of quiet authority, inner peace, and spiritual grounding.

You don’t have to carry everything alone.
You don’t have to prove anything to be safe.

Let this be your pause.
Your reset.
Your return to humility.

[00:00:00] Divine spirit, angels of light, beloved ancestors, gracious God, in this moment where my body tightens and my mind begins to defend, I pause, I feel where I, um, am holding. [00:00:23] I feel that I am pushing. [00:00:27] I feel where I'm trying to prove or protect or be seen a certain way. [00:00:39] Help me choose humility here, not to make myself smaller, but to, uh, return to what is real. [00:00:50] To see myself clearly without inflation, without rejection. [00:00:58] To stand in truth without needing to prove it. [00:01:06] Divine spirit, angels of light, beloved ancestors, graceful God, Soften what is rigid in me. [00:01:21] Relax the places in my body that are bracing for impact. [00:01:29] Release the pressure to perform, to outdo, to over explain, to over belong. [00:01:40] Let my body come into ease. [00:01:46] Let my heart soften into ease. [00:01:52] Remind me I don't need to be right to be safe. [00:01:58] I don't need to control to be held. [00:02:04] I don't need to defend, to have my own boundaries. [00:02:13] Help me see the other person, not just through my reaction, but through understanding. [00:02:22] Let me recognize that they too are human, that they too are protecting something, that they too, uh, are shaped by what I cannot see. [00:02:43] Give me grace for them and grace for myself. [00:02:50] Divine spirit, angels of light, beloved ancestors, gracious God, guide me into quiet authority where I don't need to push or convince or prove my place, where I can stay anchored in who I am without force. [00:03:23] Teach me to trust you more than my impulse to react. [00:03:32] Teach me to trust that I don't have to carry every outcome alone, that I can respond in alignment and release the rest. [00:03:53] Divine spirit, angels of light, beloved ancestors, graceful God. [00:04:02] Let humility wash over me like a soft returning, like a pause, like space opening inside of me. [00:04:22] In this space, in this moment, I choose humility. [00:04:31] I choose me to be humble. [00:04:38] And I rest here, not in control, but in trust. [00:04:51] In my humility, I find steadiness. [00:04:56] In my humility I find respect. [00:05:03] In my humility I find softness for myself, for others, for what is true. [00:05:15] And I rest here, not in control, but in trust that I can lean on you as I learn to lean on myself. [00:05:40] So let it be m. [00:05:48] So let it be. [00:05:54] So let it be. [00:05:58] So let it be.
